Apple picking

At the Riverview Orchards at Clifton Park, 30 minutes north to I-87 and a few minutes westward. This would be our second fruit-picking after Samascott but this time around, we went without friends.

(It should be called "fruit-plucking" cus you're not picking the fruits off the ground, but from the trees. But plucking sounds funny, no?)

Once in the farm, they said there were a dozen apple varieties, but we could only tell two or three apart. For sure though, the little buggers do taste great off the trees (I had 4 before stopping). We were in no Garden of Eden, but the temptation of these round succulent delights are beckoning us from everywhere.

There were awesome autumn foliage on the way going home, but I was speeding for the freeway before if gets dark. One at a time, I console myself.

The rest of the photos are here.
